I've been going through my deviations here, especially those in my scrapbook. I've re-read a lot of my writings, and as always I'm fascinated to see words that I can't relate to any longer. As if the person is gone, been replaced by me, as I am now.

My grandfather once said something like, "The more I learn, the more I realize how ignorant I am". During the past few years I've begun to understand what he meant.

Nothing stays the same. We can't ever be perfect. We can only be ourselves and play the cards we're dealt. You will win some rounds in life, but you will lose most of them. But you learn more from your failures than your successes...

It will be interesting to see if I disagree with that which I just wrote, ten years from now.
